KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 – A strong earthquake, measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale, hit Guerrero in Mexico at 1am Friday. The Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement issued here, said the earthquake’s epicentre is at 240km east west of Mexico City, Mexico, and 15,031km north-east of Sandakan, Sabah. However, the quake did not pose any tsunami threat.
