GEORGE TOWN, Sept 3 – Eight units of transit while in Gat Lebuh Noordin 2 are destroyed by fire early on Wednesday. Senior Fire and Rescue Penang Rozairi Abdul Rahim said the transit home located on the edge of the coast is usually used as a place to spend the night fishermen who went to sea in this country.
“The department received a report of the incident at 4:27 am and a fire engine with nine members takes about 20 minutes to control the fire. When we got the fires started. The cause of the fire and losses are still under investigation,” Rozairi told reporters here on Wednesday.
“Meanwhile in a separate incident, the computer equipment factory in Bayan Lepas, near here, the leaking nitrogen valve barrel earlier on Wednesday. We received a call at 5:18 am and Hazmat members successfully closing the leak and a half hours later. During the incident no employees at the plant,” he said.
