KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 20 – An express bus with about 30 passengers skidded and crashed into a Proton Saga car before landing on its side at Km445.5 of the PLUS Expressway near the Rawang exit on Sunday while the bus was heading to Penang. All the passengers managed to get out of the bus safely with some of them slightly injured.
A spokesman at the Rawang Fire and Rescue station said a male passenger in the car was killed in the crash which occurred about 3.40am and died at the Sungai Buloh Hospital. He said the car driver and the bus driver were sent to the same hospital for treatment together with the injured bus passengers.
