KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 – A calendar featuring 24 well-known Malaysian Indian celebrities was launched here with the aim of elevating the popularity of the celebrities. The Director of Pillay’s Hair Studio, Pillay Asbalan who is the mooted the initiative said that the “Indian Celebrities Calendar 2016” will give a better recognition to the Malaysian artistes who have contributed immensely towards the local entertainment fraternity.
He said this is my second effort in coming up with a calendar featuring local artistes after the first one in 2014. He said this after he attending the launching ceremony of the calendar at a shopping mall in Brickfields here on Friday night. Among the well-known local artistes featured in the calendar are Denes Kumar, Raja Ilya, Vishal Bhat, Jasmin Michael, Kishok Kumar, Pushpa Narayan, Sasikumar and Menaga Dolmayan.
According to Menaga, the celebrity calendar will be a trendsetter in Malaysia’s entertainment and fashion line. Meanwhile, Kishok also said that the calendar provided an opportunity for celebrities to know each other even better besides making new a friendships in the entertainment of the industry.
