KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 7 – The Facebook account who operating under the username of Muhammad Syam Danielz was an alleged Malaysian Islamic State (IS) militant which gaining popularity on social media with more than 2,600 “friends”. The man was claims that to be a “mujahedeen” fighting alongside the terrorist group in Syria and Iraq.
His Facebook account has been active since October. This account showed that the regular updates posted by Muhammad Syam, which included several photographs of himself together with several other alleged IS fighters. The information on supposed IS activities as well as apparent terrorist propaganda could also be seen in the string of more than 20 postings.
His latest update was posted on earlier today which displayed his photograph with several other assumed Malaysian IS fighters. In one of the Facebook posting, Muhammad Syam also noted that several of his other social media accounts had been previously flagged and blocked. Meanwhile, another posting also mentioned several other social media channels which he could be contacted such as Instagram and WeChat (mobile messaging application). However, these accounts were no longer active.
