KUALA NERUS, Dec 26 – Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman expressed his condolences to the families of the four people killed in a bus-lorry accident along the East-West Highway early Friday. He had instructed the relevant agencies and local leaders to extend assistance to the bus passengers and others who were from Terengganu.
Ahmad Razif said he hoped that the families of those killed would exercise patience at this time and expressed his gratitude to the Fire and Rescue personnel, the police and the hospital staff for having worked hard to help the victims. The menteri besar advised users of the East-West Highway to exercise caution and give preference to safety, especially during the festive period. Besides the four people killed, 26 others were injured in the head-on collision at Batu 14.
