GEORGE TOWN, Jan 9 – An accident occurred at Scotland Road near to Asrama Tamil Rama Krishna this early morning. The incident was happen at about 12:12am, a man crash to death on the spot after lost his control and hit the car (Toyota Vios). North-East District police chief, ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said the van driver, who driving Toyota Haice, was driving recklessly on Scotland road towards Masjid Negeri Road.
He said the van driver was trying to overtake a car on the right while suddenly the van lost control and ride up the road divider, hit the lamp post and the tree then skidded to the left of Scotland road leading to Masjid Negeri Road and hit the car. He said the body of victim had send to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem which been carried out on this morning 9:00am.
