GEORGE TOWN, March 19 – The Penang Hospital has sought the next-of-kin of two patients who died of infection complications at the hospital recently. The deceased have been identified as Ong Kai Chye, 51, and an unidentified 59-year-old woman. In a statement yesterday, hospital director Datuk Dr M. Sukumar said Ong died on March 7 at 7.10am.
His last known address was No: 7-A, Lorong Bayan, Jalan Teluk Wanjah, Alor Setar in Kedah. In the other case, the woman died on March 4 at 3am. Dr Sukumar said further information on the two deceased could be obtained from the hospital’s public relations department at 04-2225947/5116.
