KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 – Media Prima Berhad (MPB) is ready to telecast live on TV3, the debate between Urban Well-being, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng on the Taman Manggis land controversy.
MPB’s Television Current Affairs and News group managing editor Datuk Seri Mohd Ashraf Abdullah said he noted Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak’s announcement on Friday that Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) was ready to telecast the debate.
He in a statement Saturday said MPB is also ready to do the same, live on TV3 as proposed by Lim Guan Eng on the date and time agreed by both sides. Barisan Nasional claimed that the Penang government led by DAP had sold the Taman Manggis land which was allegedly allocated for construction of affordable homes.
