GEORGE TOWN, Feb 25 – The victim’s Ruby Lee Poh Ai, 49, who was gunned down hitman-style, funeral was happen this afternoon on 2:00pm at Batu Gantung funeral parlour. The cortege of the Ruby was leaved Batu Gantung funeral parlour and cremated at Penang’s Batu Gantung Crematorium.
Lee’s relatives and close friends were also seen shedding tears as the body was transported from the Batu Gantung funeral parlour to the crematorium. Lee was gunned down shortly after she was driving her BMW Jalan Pekaka to Jalan Bukit Gambier on Tuesday.
Two assailants on a motorcycle approached the car and one of them believed to be the pillion rider opened fire 10 shots at her, of which six hit her on the chest and other parts of her body. Her car crashed into a four-wheel drive and swerved into Lintang Pekaka 9, before coming to a stop when it fell into a culvert. Lee, who died on the spot, leaves behind her husband, Siak Kum Guan, 51, son Siak Song Phei, 22, and daughter Cassandra Siak, 17.
