LANGKAWI, Mar 23 – AeroLogica Sdn Bhd is pleased to announce that it has signed a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation for supply of Spare Parts and component Repair and Overhaul of Sikorsky Helicopters. The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer of AeroLogica, Dato’ Edron Hayata Ahmad and Regional Director Asia of Sikorsky, Mr. Eric DiStasi .
“National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI), as the parent company, and AeroLogical are very honored and privilege to partner with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in enhancing our scope of capabilities to include rotary wing in our company profile,” said Dato’ Edron.
Dato’ Edron further added that this agreement does not allow AeroLogica Sdn Bhd to support Malaysia’s fleet of Sikirsky’s S-61A NURI, S-70, and other Sikorsky helicopter types in spares, repair and overhaul capabilities, but also having the opportunities to support any other international organisations with similar Sikorsky aircraft types.
Mr. Eric DiStasi stated that “Sikorsky fully recognizes the value of establishing a robust supply chain in support of Malaysia’s Sikorsky fleet. Through key partnerships such as this, we will continue to pursue competitive and innovative support solutions designed to keep our Malaysia customers mission ready.”
