SHAH ALAM, Aug 22 – Simultaneous raids are being conducted by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) at Universiti Selangor (Unisel), Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) and the office of a contractor Jana Niaga Sdn Bhd linked to it over an alleged RM16 million payout from the state coffers.
In the meanwhile, the raids here and in Kuala Lumpur also kicked off at about 10am after the MACC launched a probe following claims of MBI had made disbursements of the sum to Jana Niaga despite it failing to carry out the work on the university.
