IPOH, Oct 8 – Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir did not say that Penang Chief Minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng wanted to create conflict between religions. Zambry only said that it was shallow of Guan Eng to allege that Umno was anti-religion just because of the ties between Malaysia and China.
A statement issued by the Press Secretary Unit of the Perak Mentri Besar’s Office tonight said Zambry made the statement in a press conference in Lumut. The statement followed a Bernama news report titled Lim Guan Eng Wants To Create Conflict Between Religions, which was transmitted earlier. — Bernama
