KUALA PILAH, Oct 25 – A store for old furniture, files and books at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (T) Kuala Pilah, Jalan Burhanudin here was on fire this morning. Nine firemen and a fire engine from Kuala Pilah Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the location at 4.20am.
Station officer Eva Saifun Kamuni said the station received a call at 4.16am. “Firefighters managed to control the blaze from spreading to other areas and about 10 per cent of the premises was damaged . There were no casualties reported,” he said when contacted. The cause of fire was still being investigated, he said. — Bernama
