GEORGE TOWN, Nov 28 – The launching of Asia Pacific’s first immersive and interactive exhibit at Tech Dome Penang here this morning with the present of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.
The Immersive & Interactive Exhibit is a public display by Immersive Interactive, the leading provider of immersive spaces in the United Kingdom in partnership with its Malaysian agent Insan Saintifik.
Immersive space is a technology that utilises multiple projectors and laser sensors to create multi-sensory environments whether real or fictional in space occupied by observers.
The technology allows space to be transformed into an interactive and engaging one for learning and training purposes. Lim said about 70 system is used in schools, special education and to provide training for hospitals, emergency and security personnel have been installed in the United Kingdom. — PN
