GEORGE TOWN, Feb 11 – About 4,500 participants from within and outside the country took part in the OBS Chinese New Year Run 2018 at the Occupy Beach Street, here this early morning.
Among others, the run was themed bright and vibrant red, which participants able to soak in the Chinese New Year’s festive mood in advance by joining a 5km distance fun run around George Town World Heritage Site.
Also, roam the streets and find high stilt lion dance, war drums performance as well as all forms of colourful celebration by pleasant surprise. The run was flagged off by Tanjong MP Ng Wei Aik and Sungai Pinang assemblyman Lim Siew Khim this morning. — PN
