GEORGE TOWN, Mar 8 – In conjunction with the International Women’s Day celebration today, Air Putih State Assemblyman (ADUN) cum Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and his wife Betty Chew came down personally to the ground to deliver the flowers to the residents here.
As early as 7.30am, Guan Eng and his wife waved to everyone whom from Air Itam Health Clinic to surrounding Jalan Bukit Bendera to Jalan Air Putih. About 1,500 of fresh carnation and rose was given out by Guan Eng and his wife to all the women, young and old.
Also present were Council Members for the Penang City Council (MBPP), Syerleena Abdul Rashid, Joseph Ng Soon Seang and Chris Lee Chun Kit and a committee member of the Local Development and Security Committee (JKKK). — PN
