The local residents of Bayan Lepas and particularly Relau hereby request FREPENCA to demand strict compliance of their member companies’ workers‘ hostels agents and factory bus operators on the following:
– To assign dedicated factory bus depot situated away from residential area particularly those with kindergartens and schools.
– No illegal overnight parking at residential area particularly Relau Persiaran Paya Terubong 1-5.
– No entry of residential inner access roads with no turning radius and thereby endangering other road users particularly Persiaran Paya Terubong 1-5.
– Pick-up and drop-off of workers only at designated bus-stops along the trunk/main road only.
– All foreign workers to live at assigned workers’ hostels only; no individual rental of rooms elsewhere.
– All foreign workers’ hostels are not to be situated within areas of high local population density to avoid impact to property value and other social economic issues.
We look forward to an official statement from FREPENCA on their commitment on the above as part of their collective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
