PENANG, December 22 – A webinar was held by persuasive communication final year students from School of Communication Universiti Sains Malaysia, this webinar is in conjunction with the YOUphoria campaign. YOU Shine, a two-hour webinar is one of the self-love and empowerment project activities in YOUphoria’s campaign, aims to empower youth to appreciate themselves and support each other in facing the ever so challenging time today and making that positive lifestyle choices.
Dr Nurzali Ismail, the Dean of The School of Communication encourages everyone , especially the youth to stay focused, be mentally, spiritually and socially strong as we are still battling with COVID-19 and many of the youth are severely affected by the situation. YOUphoria campaign has organized a series of pocket events that could benefit the youth and the society. Motivational speaker Mr Farhaan Rahmat in his sharing session emphasised on the importance of youth to keep a balanced and positive lifestyle including getting rid of those toxic influences.
“You don’t have to share everything on social media ” said Mr Farhaan Rahmat to 99 participants attended the webinar. Second runner up of Ratu Bumi, Miss Sanglisha and alumni of USM School of Communiation, also shared her experience and believed staying positive, motivated and determined is the way to work up to where you wanted to be in life. The YOUphoria campaign runs from 28th November 2021 to 17th January 2022. Various activities and prizes to be won throughout the campaign.
