KUALA LUMPUR, January 23 – Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad is still being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN) today. Our family has interacted with him.
On behalf of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, we as a family would like to thank all parties, at home and abroad, who have organized a prayer ceremony and recitation of yasin as well as people from various religions who have sent prayers and greetings for Tun Dr Mahathir recovered quickly.
We also hope that the public does not heed the rumors spread by unauthentic sources. The IJN and Tun Dr Mahathir’s family will issue statements from time to time. Once again we thank everyone.
