GEORGE TOWN, March 21 – Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) is conducting another competition for our Penang youth. This time around, the competition that will be held will be a T-Shirt Design Competition with the theme ‘Youth for Future’ that is aligned with PYDC’s initiative.
The objective of this competition is for the youth to get more exposure in designing as well as creating a platform for them to put into practice their passion and their creativity. Not only that, but the winners will also be bringing back cash prizes. Champion will receive RM 800, first runner up RM 500, second runner up RM 300 and seven consolation prizes RM 100 each.
The competition is open for all Penang youth aged 15 to 35-year-old, either born, studying, or working in Penang. This competition will be receiving submissions from 22 March 2022 until 15 April 2022. The competition is an individual based competition, and each participant can only submit one design by incorporating the theme ‘Youth for Future’. The design from participants must be raw and fresh from their own creativity. The winning design will be considered to be printed as PYDC’s Youth for Future t-shirt that will be distributed to the youth community.
Guidelines for judging from a total of 100 marks allocated by originality is 20%, creativity by 30%, visual impact by 25%, and over-all T-Shirt Design by 25%. Any elements downloaded, particles, jpeg, png, vector online neither free nor paid is prohibited. Any act of plagiarism is strongly prohibited and will lead to immediate disqualification if detected.
The organizer (PYDC) has the right to withdraw the contestant’s design if it fails to follow the criteria above. Contestants must submit the final design file in original size of (1) PNG format and (2) designer file through google form link.
