PENANG, April 5 — SALT TECH SOLUTIONS, a Malaysian company, and FADO GO, a company based in the United States, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on providing them with a subsequent platform and knowledge exchange between the two organizations. The virtual signing ceremony took place on the Zoom platform.
The virtual signing ceremony was jointly witnessed by YB Dato’ Haji Abdul Halim Bin Haji Hussain, Mr Prasad Babu Ramalu, Senior Manager, E-commerce Department of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) Sdn Bhd, Mr Cris Duy Tran, managing director of Viet Nam Startup Investment Fund (VNSIF).
Both CEOs will participate in a panel discussion on Future Cross-Border e-Commerce via Blockchain Technology with witnesses. In addition, a gimmick session will run throughout the event, providing benefits to merchants that are interested in joining the Fado platform.
With the signing of this memorandum, both organizations will bring the following unique values to the Malaysian community when applying blockchain technology to e-commerce and import and export:
- Collaborate in exporting Malaysia curated products to G7 countries and Vietnam via cross border e-commerce by paying by crypto and tracking trade on blockchain.
- Provide transportation solutions through FADO’s ecosystem and simplify the process of buying and selling goods between Malaysia and Vietnam.
- NFT and NFT market development involves selected physical products, such as limited edition fashion products. When redeeming NFTs, these virtual NFTs can be redeeming actual products through door-to-door delivery. Meanwhile, retailers or brands can build or display virtual stores, and users can try VR/AR technology, such as virtual shopping.
- Encourage and promote business cooperation through co-branding or community building as an ecosystem partner on a variety of marketing channels (including websites and other relevant channels), as well as hosting AMA sessions, meetups, events, training workshops, and Airdrops together.
