PUTRAJAYA, June 8 – Malaysia strongly condemns the statement insulting the Prophet Muhammad SAW by two Indian politicians. The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned His Excellency the High Commissioner of India to Malaysia this afternoon and delivered a full refutation of the statement.
Malaysia welcomes the decision of India’s ruling party to suspend members of the party following their provocative statements which have sparked outrage among Muslims. Malaysia calls on India to work together to end Islamophobia and stop any acts of provocation for the sake of global peace and stability.
