BAYAN LEPAS, July 3 – Foodies celebrated and feasted their stomach on the scrumptious spread of food and beverage options at the TLM Food and Beverage Expo 2022. Held from 1st to 3rd of July, 2022 at the SPICE Arena Penang, the expo provided a vibrant, aromatic yet delicious food paradise to stimulate all five senses for its visitors. Exhibitors at the expo have come from across the nation. The expo was launched by the honorable Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.
There were an approximate 120 booths, ranging from various gourmet restaurants to large-scale manufacturers, who were all there to showcase their best products and services. These businesses came together not only to showcase their creations to new customers but also to reconnect with existing clients. There were also incredible deals and exciting programs included to provide an unforgettable experience for the foodies.
TLM Food & Beverage Expo organizing chairman Alex Quah said the food exhibition was the largest on in the northern region “We are expecting around 60,000 visitors for the three-day expo. The expo is also an amazing opportunity and platform for new businesses or start-ups in the F&B industry to promote themselves. We want to help new start-ups to build their business”, he said in his speech.
Apart from visiting booths, visitors also took part in giveaways, lucky draws, happy hour promotions, and workshops. There were also goodies bags up for grabs. Visitors were also wowed with the daily Youth Chef Challenges, where chefs demonstrate their culinary skills to vie for the prize in various categories.
