GEORGE TOWN, July 14 – Daily cases of covid-19 are on the rise and the situation is particularly worrisome following the upcoming festive holidays. New Covid-19 case infections have soared and increased 31% compared to last week. Omicron Sub variant BA.5 has emerged in Malaysia and will cause higher cases of infection. Muda Pulau Pinang would like to suggest that:
- People who meet the criteria take a booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine with
soon. - Enforcement and punishment of parties who do not comply with the latest SOPs Covid-19 is intensified. (For example, wearing a face mask in a closed area).
- If found positive, immediately report to the authorities and get appropriate treatment.
- Supply free test kits to those who need and can not afford.
Together we as Malaysians carry out our individual and social responsibilities to face the challenges of Covid-19 with the cooperation of all authorities.
