KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 – The much-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Thor: Love and Thunder will not be playing in Malaysian cinemas. The announcement was made on GSC’s Official Facebook Page and Instagram Account today at 12pm, which read as follows: “Dear valued customers, please be informed that Disney has updated that Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will not be releasing in Malaysia after all.
The promotional merchandise for the film however will still to be sold at GSC cinemas. This cancellation comes after the film was originally slated for a July 7 premiere before being postponed to July 21. However, on July 13, it was announced that its release would be withheld. Up to now there were official statement has been made by either Disney or Marvel. TGV CCinemas have also confirmed the news in a social media post.
