KUALA LUMPUR, August 4 – Perikatan Nasional (PN) Secretary General, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri on Thursday to discuss more about the PN agreement. “God willing, I will meet YAB Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, tomorrow,” he said at a press conference at the MAB Academy here, on Wednesday. Earlier he expressed their disappointment towards the Prime Minister who was seen as not earnestly fulfilling the important terms contained in the agreement with PN.
In the meeting of the Supreme Leadership Council (MPT) of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) on 2 August 2022 was chaired by the President, YB Tan Sri Dato’ Hj. Muhyiddin bin Hi. Mohd. Yassin. The meeting recorded a congratulatory speech on the success of the Terengganu State National Alliance Launching Ceremony which was well received on July 30, 2022.
In addition, the meeting also discussed in detail and finalized some specific strategies and approaches for BERSATU to strengthen the machinery and improve the work process for the 15th General Election. In order to further promote the involvement of allied members in the work of the party machinery, the meeting unanimously agreed to appoint Dr. Chong Fat Full as the new BERSATU Associate Wing Leader effective immediately.
While injecting new strength into the party machinery among the youth, the meeting unanimously agreed to appoint Puan Nur Fadzilah binti Kamaluddin as Head of Young Srikandi Wing (Sponsor) and Miss Suhainna binti Jami as Deputy Head of Young Srikandi Wing (Sponsor). These appointments are part of important decisions to complete the party’s election organizational structure at the central level and they also reflect Bersatu’s readiness to face the 15th General Election at any time.
