BALIK PULAU, August 4 – A Rapid Penang bus was involved in an accident at Jalan Tun Sardon on Monday, August 1 morning. In the incident that happened, at 06.41 am, a white Perodua Kenari car that was being driven by a man and a woman collided with the front of the Rapid Penang bus route T502.
A motorcycle was also involved in the accident. However, the bus captain and a passenger on the bus did not suffer any injuries. All the injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital, according to a Rapid Bus statement. A police report has been made at the Northeast District Traffic Police Station. Rapid Bus will provide full cooperation with the police to investigate the incident, added the statement.
