GEORGE TOWN, August 15 – The recent incident of beach erosion at Golden Sands Beach, Batu Ferringhi has worried many local residents and environmentalists. MUDA Penang shares the same concern, but at the same time appreciates the quick action of YB Zairil Khir Johari, who announced that the mitigation works will start at the end of August. Therefore, we hope that the state government will be transparent and honest about any conservation efforts to protect our existing beautiful beaches in Penang.
