PUTRAJAYA, August 22 – Civil servants will receive good news at the end of this month, said the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. In fact, the same news will also be shared with community activists who are committed to serving the country, especially through non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Insya Allah, we will announce something cheerful to cure the grief of civil servants at the Public Service Prime Minister’s Meeting scheduled for August 30,” he said.
During the opening of the Malaysian Family Symposium “Achievements and Hopes” at the Putrajaya International Convention Center ( PICC) here, today. The Prime Minister said, a government will only be strong and effective if it gets support from all parties. He said, the government has never disputed or underestimated the sacrifices of civil servants. As we all know, our country is often hit by natural disasters such as large, unexpected floods. The same goes for security threats including at the national border.
At a time when the country is experiencing difficulties for security forces such as the Royal Malaysian Police, the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department, the Malaysian Social Welfare Department, the Health Department, the Implementation Coordination Unit, The National Disaster Management Agency and various other government agencies are on duty without delay and full of dedication.
