PUTRAJAYA, September 7 – The Ministry of Health announced that the wearing of face masks in the building indoor is now optional. Those who are have Symptomatic or COVID-19 Positive, Public Transport including E-Hailing Services, School and Worker Buses must continue wearing masks. The Healthcare Facilities where Masking will still be Required include Clinics, Hospitals and Nursing Homes. This is in line with relevant laws and the new protocol for the use of face masks takes effect immediately said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said today in the Press Conference.
