GEORGE TOWN, October 5 – The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is always ready if the 15th General Election (GE15) is held in the near future. The Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said, the preparations included from the point of view of human resources and assets to ensure the smoothness of GE15. As in previous years, we always make thorough preparations and are always ready if the general election is held in the near future.
“With the preparations we have made, we pray that GE-15 can be carried out smoothly, peacefully, peacefully and under control,” he said at a press conference after the 75th Marine Police Day Commemoration Ceremony at Pengkalan Marine Police Force Region 1, Batu Uban, here on Monday. Speculation that the GE15 will be held in the near future has grown stronger after the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob reportedly held discussions with Acryl Sani as well as the Attorney General and the Election Commission (SPR) for almost five hours starting at 11am, Sunday.
