IKEA Malaysia invites Members of the Media to have a look at the new OBEGRÄNSAD Collection by IKEA in collaboration with Swedish House Mafia which now reached Malaysian shores. The much-awaited range is designed to allow many music creators and lovers to build the ideal home studio at an affordable price.
The collection offers a variety of home furnishing solutions and accessories, now available at all IKEA Stores from 6 October and available for purchase online from 10 October onwards. OBEGRÄNSAD, which translates to “unlimited” in Swedish, is aimed at everyone who values a quality music experience at home and elsewhere, including DJs, music producers, and other creators with modest resources but limitless imagination.
The desk is the centrepiece of any home music creator’s setup. The OBEGRÄNSAD Desk is designed with two stands to bring the speakers to the ear level. After all, sound is everything in music. Adding on to its functionality, the desk is equipped with a pull-out shelf to fit a keyboard for maximum desktop space. The perfect balance of form and function was central to the range in satisfying both sides of the brain – the practical and logical side to get stuff done in the best possible way.
And the emotional and imaginative side that taps into the feeling. The OBEGRÄNSAD Armchair symbolizes this balance, providing a simple yet elegant spot to unwind and reflect. Similar comfort is reflected in the tactility of the rugs, cushion cover, throw and slippers. The collection also features a variety of functional storage, shelving and desktop accessories to help maintain a clean space, while making way for creative flow.
This includes an OBEGRÄNSAD Shelving Unit, which is a classic KALLAX remixed. It is redesigned with shelf space for amps, along with classic vinyl-sized block shelving, and a higher unit height for mixing on. The simple, minimal wire structured OBEGRÄNSAD record stand on the other hand is designed to store approximately 60 vinyl records without concealing them.
