SHAH ALAM, October 10 – The distribution of seats between parties as well as the appointment of a consulting committee from the component parties of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) is expected to be completed soon. The chairman of the PN, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin informed that the matter is one of the most important to be expedited so that preparations can be made early in addition to all parties knowing the places and seats that will be contested.
“I was briefed on the preparation of the PN at the state level and I felt happy and satisfied when I was told that the Perak PN had started work early to face GE15. This means that the level of preparedness in this state has almost reached 100 percent. In terms of the structure of the party machinery, we agree to use PN in matters of coordination between parties in order to avoid wasting available and limited resources,” he said in a post on the Facebook page on Sunday.
In the meantime, Muhyiddin said, also discussed was the manifesto at the national level in addition to opening up space if leaders at the state level want to prepare an additional manifesto as an offer for their respective states. “I was also informed that the work including the Caring Tour has moved to focus areas that will be given more attention.I hope that all of the ongoing work planning can be intensified before the next general election,” he said.
