KUALA LUMPUR, October 12 – A special meeting to discuss and determine the important dates for the 15th General Election (GE15) and the By-Election (PRK) of the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) of Bugaya, Sabah will be held on 20 October. The Secretary of the Election Commission (SPR), Datuk Indera Ikmalrudin Ishak informed that the meeting chaired by the Chairman, Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh will be held at Menara SPR Putrajaya at 10 am.
“The special meeting will discuss the important dates of GE15 and the Bugaya state assembly by-election, such as the date of the election writ, candidate nomination day, voting day, voter register to be used as well as other preparations to carry out both elections. A press conference will be held immediately after the meeting,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
