KUALA LUMPUR, October 12 – ‘Stability and Prosperity’ is the main theme for the Barisan Nasional Coalition 15th General Election (GE15) Manifesto. Its Secretary General, Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir stated that the manifesto was chosen after getting approval in the party’s supreme council meeting last Tuesday. BN is committed to ensuring that the welfare of the people and the sovereignty of the country continue to be strengthened by offering policies that are pro-people in driving sustainable and comprehensive socioeconomic development,” he said.
The Pangkor state assemblyman also stated that BN upholds the order of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah who allowed the dissolution of Parliament in accordance with his authority as enshrined in the constitution . He explained that all preparations have been directed towards the entire machinery of the party either at the level of Parliament or State Assembly in preparation for GE15. The Supreme Council instructed the Chairman of the Divisional Coordinating Committee to conduct a machinery coordination meeting to face GE15.
