PETALING JAYA, October 16 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) is expected to launch its manifesto in conjunction with the 15th General Election (GE15) next Thursday. Its chairman, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said, the launch was in conjunction with the PH Convention at the Ipoh International Convention Centre, Perak which was earlier than the original schedule on 29 October.
We don’t want a long manifesto, we will try our best. But the core of the manifesto must be related to the cost of living, education, health facilities, job opportunities and eliminating corruption,” he said at the meeting media at the PKR Headquarters here on Thursday. The president of the People’s Justice Party did not rule out the possibility of working with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to face GE15.
He said, the door to cooperate with any party is always open but it should be based on certain principles and not just to fight UMNO and BN and PH also agreed to form an electoral alliance with MUDA and Parti Sosialis Malaysia. Anwar also announced the participation of two new members of PKR, the former member of the Supreme Leadership Council who is also the founder of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu,) Datuk Dr Rais Hussin Mohamed Ariff. – BERNAMA
