KUALA LUMPUR, October 31 – Tan Sri Tony Fernandes announced his resignation as its AirAsia X Bhd Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Monday with immediate effect after almost four months he was redesignated to the post. His resignation was “Due To Other Commitments”. Fernandes who is 58, was first redesignated as AAX Acting Group CEO, in addition to his position as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on July 8, following the resignation of Nadda Buranasiri as the group CEO in April.
