BAYAN LEPAS, November 6 – Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has described claims that he will work with BN chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to form a new government after the 15th General Election (GE15) as slander. He in a metaphorical tone questioned the claim whether it came from an authentic source or otherwise. Anwar and Zahid want to form a new government, where do you look? Can Muslims slander like that?
“Ask what I discussed with Anthony Loke (Secretary General of DAP) and Mohamad Sabu (President of Parti Amanah Negara), what is our position? We will work hard so that we get a majority of at least 112 parliamentary seats in GE15 (for the form of a central government),” he said when speaking at a friendly ceremony with residents in Bayan Baru, here on Sunday.
Media previously reported that PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said in a press conference in Kedah that there was a ruse between UMNO and BN and PH in the face of GE15 by ensuring that BN won less seats to give PH a big victory. Abdul Hadi claimed that the strategy was aimed at facilitating the merger process between BN and PH to form the Federal Government after GE15.
