BAYAN LEPAS, November 7 – Bayan Baru Barisan Nasional candidate Saw Yee Fung today invited Bayan Baru Pakatan Harapan candidate Sim Tze Tzin who is also the incumbent of the area to hold an open debate to enable the people to examine the narrative and political planning of both parties, before making a choice. Yee Fung said her manifesto for Bayan Baru will be launch in a few days time.
Both candidates can debate rationally in Malay, English or Mandarin, regarding to the policies and issues close to the people’s hearts such as flood and traffic jam. Saw hoped that both parties would be able to convey their respective visions and views clearly. Yee Fung said she will send an invitation letter to the Pakatan Harapan Bayan Baru candidate Sim Tze Tzin and the time and location will be finalized only after the representatives of both parties agree to hold negotiations.
Yee Fung had asked interested media or independent non-governmental organizations to become moderators, should the invitation be accepted. He also urged the voters to attend and ask questions to the candidates, for the sake of a better future for Bayan Baru speaking to the Member of the Press at Barisan Nasional Bayan Baru Operations Room.
