KUALA LUMPUR, November 20 – BN accepts and respects the people’s decision in the 15th General Election (GE15). BN chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said, BN considers the result of GE15 as a big signal given by the people towards the party. “Nonetheless, BN will continue to commit to contributing to see that a stable government can be established.
“We are ready to set aside our previous differences in sentiment,” he said in a statement tonight. He also said that BN wants to see good relations between the states in the peninsula with Sabah and Sarawak. “We are ready to be a bridge to strengthen this relationship,” he said. In addition, Ahmad Zahid said, BN will focus on restoring the party’s strength, especially addressing current challenges and the needs of the new generation.
