IPOH, November 21 – DAP Perak claims that Barisan Nasional (BN) has agreed to cooperate with Pakatan Harapan (PH) to form a new Perak state government. In a statement shared with the media, the collaboration saw the coalition have 33 seats in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN), which is a simple majority out of a total of 59 seats to form the state government.
However, so far there has been no confirmation from BN or PH Perak leaders regarding the matter. The results of the 15th General Election (GE15) announced on Saturday saw PH win 24 seats and BN nine seats while Perikatan Nasional (BN) won 26 seats.
