KUALA LUMPUR, November 23 – PAS reminds all parties not to take advantage of the situation after the 15th General Election (GE15) in order to maintain harmony between races in the country. Pas Information Chief, Ir Khairil Nizam Khirudin said, the rule of law and public order also need to be maintained to ensure the well-being of the people can be maintained.
“In order to preserve the country’s political and economic stability in ensuring the well-being of Malaysians who are multi-racial, Pas warns any party not to nod in the murky waters in this situation. All parties continue to uphold the majesty of the Federal Constitution, respect the integrity of the law and preserve public order, as well as prevent any form of provocation that could threaten harmony in the country,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.
In the meantime, Khairil Nizam explained that the statement of the party president, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang who called on all parties to respect the majesty of the Constitution is very accurate in the current political situation. We all know that Malaysians have made a choice and they also hope that democracy continues to flourish in our beloved country. We must rebuild this country,” he said.
