KUCHING, November 24 – DAP publicly apologizes to the leaders of the Sarawak State Government and the people of the state if the party leaders ever made offensive statements. The apology was made by DAP Secretary General Loke Siew Fook on social media after paying a courtesy call on the Premier of Sarawak, Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at his residence in Kuching today. Also present was Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Prof. Dato Seri Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
According to Anthony, the meeting took place amicably which was followed by a discussion between the two leaders and an apology was also expressed to Abang Johari. I have informed YAB Premier that if there is any statement made by any DAP leader that offends the government and the people of Sarawak, I represent DAP to apologize publicly,” said Anthony.
