KUALA LUMPUR, November 24 – The vehicle carrying the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar was seen entering the Istana Negara around 9.40am. The Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al Mustafa Billah Shah was seen leaving to arrive at gate one, Istana Negara at 10.20am. The arrival of the young Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail at around 10.30 this morning.
On Wednesday, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah gave his consent to organize a Special Discussion of Malay Rulers at the Istana Negara on Thursday. According to the Palace this special discussion is aimed at getting the views of the Malay Kings to enable His Majesty to make decisions for the benefit and well-being of the country and the people.
The session with the leaders of the coalition was a follow-up to the results of the confirmation of the Prime Minister candidates which had been informed by the leaders of the parties and the leaders of the coalition of political parties to the Istana Negara which found that there was no member of the Dewan Rakyat who had the confidence of a simple majority to be appointed as Prime Minister 10th Minister.
