KUALA LUMPUR, December 19 – A total of 222 members of the Dewan Rakyat on Monday took the oath as Members of Parliament with Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim leading the ceremony. He was then followed by two Deputy Prime Ministers, Bagan Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Petrajaya Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof. Next, Seremban Member of Parliament who is also the DAP Secretary General, Anthony Loke.
Followed by Kota Raja Member of Parliament, Mohamad Sabu who is also the President of Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah). The rotation of the swearing-in ceremony was started by the government’s Members of Parliament, led by the line of ministers and deputy ministers followed by Members of Parliament from the opposition bloc
