KUALA LUMPUR, December 24 – Barisan Nasional (BN) Treasurer General, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein insisted that he will remain with the party’s struggle forever. According to the Sembrong Member of Parliament, he will at the same time make the most of the opportunities available to improve the party’s performance.
He stressed that BN-UMNO must also make reforms immediately following the heavy defeat in the 15th General Election (GE15) which saw the coalition only get 30 seats in Parliament. The 15th general election BN lost badly, only getting 30 seats, a result that should convince and make us all aware, especially UMNO and BN members. We need to make improvements and whatever corrections are needed for our beloved party.
A lot of work must be done if we want to restore the confidence of the people, we cannot make another mistake he said in a video posted on his Instagram account on Thursday. Hishammuddin added, all UMNO members were reminded to be determined to ensure a better future for the party.
