KUALA LUMPUR, February 15 – A total of 315,760 or 86 percent of devices were distributed to PerantiSiswa recipients out of 366,843 applications approved as of February 9, said Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil. He said, in order to speed up the distribution of the remaining 51,083 or 14 percent of recipients, there will be two distribution sessions that will be implemented including the scheduling of distribution to recipient institutions which has been expedited.

In addition, Student Device Distribution Centers (PPPs) will be mobilized simultaneously throughout the country from February 17 to 19 (first session), February 24 to 26 (second session) and March 3 to 5 (third session) at various higher education institutions determined in every state. “Centralized distribution gives flexibility to the recipient to choose the appropriate distribution center and session regardless of the locality of the original recipient’s institution.

“This means that students who are on vacation, undergoing industrial training or any related reason can take the device at the nearest PPPs of their choice,” he said in a statement on Thursday. According to Fahmi, applications that have passed but have not been distributed will receive a notification, and can choose the appropriate distribution center and session by accessing the same platform account during the application at https://perantisiswa.kkd.gov.my starting today.
