KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 – The Prime Minister’s Department (PM) on Monday denied a screenshot of news that went viral on social media quoting Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announcing a public holiday this Wednesday following Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh’s victory at the Academy Awards (Oscars).
JPM, through a post on its official Facebook page, informed that the information conveyed through a screenshot of the news entitled “PM Anwar declares public holiday on Wednesday: This is the pride of a nation!” was false. People are asked not to spread or share any uncertain or false information. Not sure, don’t share, according to the message. – Bernama
