SHAH ALAM, April 28 – Analysts expect Pas to retain power in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah and likely to win more seats in Penang. Universiti Sains Malaysia Political Analyst, Professor Sivamurugan Pandian said, expectations were made based on the results of the 15th General Election (GE15) because PAS’s performance improved so significantly. The result of GE15 for PAS is very encouraging and I think that the party will defend its power in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah, while in Penang there will be great competition in areas where the majority of Malay voters are.
